DESCRIPTION:Dear Windsor and Maidenhead Starfish Swim Club Members\, \nPlease find below information for the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the Windsor and Maidenhead Starfish Swim Club.  The AGM this year is being held online via a platform such as Teams or Zoom on Wednesday 8th November 2023 at 7:30 pm\, following on from the Annual Trustee’s meeting at 7:00 pm\, (the Trustees being those people elected onto the committee only and the club President).    \nA link for joining the online platform will be sent to all members closer to the date.   \nAs you may recall\, in my original notice of the AGM I sent out a request for nominations for committee members\, and any resolutions to be proposed.   Below are the nominations received for Committee positions.  I have proposed one resolution\, as follows\, because the Club Constitution needs updating to reflect the January 2022 Swim England model:  \nBe it resolved that the Club Constitution shall be updated according to the current Jan. 2022 Swim England Model\, as required by Swim England Club Affiliation.  It shall then be submitted to the relevant Swim England county legal representative for approval.  It shall be submitted for approval by the Club Trustees and then submitted for ratification at the AGM following the Annual Club Trustees meeting. Once approved\, and then sent for  final approval by the Swim England county legal representative\, it shall submitted to the Swim England Swimmark/Club Affiliation database\, be distributed to the Club members\, posted on the Club website and sent to the Charity Commission.
